Department of Labor Resources

Overview

New Jersey Department of Labor and Garden State Employment and Training Association reblossomed their partnership in 2022, in order to be a main resource between Workforce development professionals, while providing top notch professional development for their staff. Within this, GSETA has provided the outlet for NJDOL to provide pre-recorded trainings along with various supportive documents and assessments towards new policies nad procedures being issued. This has continued in the more recent years with the Workbased Learning Initiative (April/May 2022) and Local Governance Modules (November 2022-October 2023). The work will continue on, providing all the supportive resources to the Workforce Development professionals in our state.

The Disruption by Design training was engaging and informative and I found the presenter to be knowledgeable and relatable.

My favorite part of the workshops series was the Individual Resiliency Assessment… The assessment resonated with me because it gave me an understanding of why I may think the way I do or how or I handle stress, and adjust to change etc. in the workplace environment but in my everyday life too.
